March 4th- Guess it's been a while

God. I've been so busy lately. It's not even funny how much stuff I have to do... D: I've decided to leave Roxanne for now, and I'm working on a completely new story called Wicked Fascination. It's a more modern thriller kind of story, with another teenage girl main character, more falling in love and lots of grisly deaths. You just know you're looking forward to it, right?

Well, the reason I haven't blogged in almost 3 months is simply because of school work. January had the mock exams, which I didn't do too badly in, but meant a lot of revision. February meant too many trips to count on one hand, all with school, including the History trip to Belgium. That was fantastic! I got loads of photos, made new friends, and on the subject of photos: discovered my love for photography. No where near as much as for writing, but, hey. At least it's something to do when I can't write... Like right now. I have my art exam (the real thing) in March 27th, I think... So there's lots of prep work to do for that, and then I have my German speaking exam either just before or just after Easter. I'm actually writing my speech right now.

The point is, school is taking the piss, as in; there's never a spare second. In three months I have written only 15k of my new novel, which, I admit is better than what I'd written last year before Nano, but still! If I can write 104 thousand words in 28 days, why the hell can I not write 50 thousand words in a year? Goodness knows, all I do know is that I'm going to work my damned hardest to stay away from the PC while I study. So, yeah, that means a few more months of little or no entries. Sorry! Not like many people cared anyway, haha.

Anyways. Later guys.

About Me

My Photo
Name: Kitty Taylor
Location: Derby, Derbyshire, United Kingdom

I'm a 23 year old female, who spends much too much of her time online, and in the book store. I'm in love with writing, and reading and anything mildly creative, really. In the future I'd like to write professionally, because it's something that I know would be perfect for me, but until I come up with best selling material that will keep me in the moneys, I think I'll just head for whatever I can get. Got contacts in the writing business? Let me know, I'd love to learn more about it.

"Come on babe

Why don't we paint the town?

And all that Jazz

I'm gonna rouge my knees

And roll my stockings down

And all that jazz

Start the car

I know a whoopee spot

Where the gin is cold

But the piano's hot

It's just a noisy hall

Where there's a nightly brawl

And all

That

Jazz

Skit two!

And all that Jazz

Hotshot!

Whoopee!

And all that Jazz

Slick your hair

And wear your buckle shoes

And all that Jazz

I hear that Father Dip

Is gonna blow the blues

And all that Jazz

Hold on, hon

We're gonna bunny hop

I bought some aspirin

Down at United Drug

In case you shake apart

And want a brand new start

To do that-

Jazz

Find a flask

We're playing fast and loose

And all that jazz

Right up here

Is where I store the juice

And all that jazz

Come on, babe

We're gonna brush the sky

I bet you lucky Lindy

Never flew so high

'Cause in the stratosphere

How could he lend an ear

To all that Jazz?

Oh, you're gonna see your sheba shimmy shake

And all that jazz

Oh, she's gonna shimmy 'till her garters break

And all that jazz

Show her where to park her girdle

Oh, her mother's blood'd curdle

And If she hears her baby squeal

It's For all that jazz

And all that jazz

And all that jazz

Come on babe

Why don't we paint

The town?

And all that jazz

I'm gonna

Rouge my knees

And roll my

Stockings down

And all that jazz

Start the car

I know a whoopee spot

Where the gin is cold

But the piano's hot

It's just a noisy hall

Where there's a nightly brawl

And all that-

Jazz

No, I'm no one's wife

But, oh, I love my life

And all that Jazz!

That Jazz!"
