A [NaNoWriMo] Novelist...

"In skating over thin ice, our safety is our speed."

It's 7:30AM and I'm tired. I went to bed quite early again, but then sat around for an hour thinking about god only knows what -_-' Now I just want to sleep some more. On the plus side, today I only have three lessons then I can come home. I have a double dose of art first (and we're using CLAY!!!) and then a single hour of history. Hopefully the art will cheer me up a little, because I need waking up, big time...

Not only am I tired though, no, it's only bloody freezing outside. Walking to school in just a T-shirt and a suit jacket is cooooold. I'm thinking about taking my scarf; knowing my luck, it'll be really warm this afternoon and I'll have to carry it because I can't be bothered to wear it and be hot. Gah, I hate English weather sometimes... I didn't take the dog for a walk last night, because Sarah and Alex came over. Alex missed me; Sarah needed to pick up some art work. So, me and Alex offered to walk Sarah part of the way home. We got up to the school, sat on the floor and talked. For ages. It was great.

These little children were walking past, and we ignored them. They seemed to think something was going on.

Kid one: "What you doing?"
Me: "Nothing."
K1: "That's not nothing, what are you doing?"
Alex: "Drugs."
K2: "REALLY?"
k1: "Are you really doing drugs?"
k2: "Are you drinking? You look drunk-"

Etc. I think you get the picture, and it went on like that for a while. They commenced saying how they thought Alex would do drugs because she looked like "one of them". The weirdest thing had to be the fact that Sarah as sitting outside of school in her suit, because she'd just come from school. Yeah, because we do drugs in our school clothes >.>. Those kids thought we were badass xD That doesn't happen a lot. Me and Sarah have got to be the most 'goody-two-shoes' girls in the whole of our year... Eah, it was funny.

Well, I have to go sort my hair out, and brush my teeth, and do my makeup. I'd best do it now, because it's now like, twenty minutes to eight, and I leave the house at five to.

Peace.
Kitty.

About Me

My Photo
Name: Kitty Taylor
Location: Derby, Derbyshire, United Kingdom

I'm a 23 year old female, who spends much too much of her time online, and in the book store. I'm in love with writing, and reading and anything mildly creative, really. In the future I'd like to write professionally, because it's something that I know would be perfect for me, but until I come up with best selling material that will keep me in the moneys, I think I'll just head for whatever I can get. Got contacts in the writing business? Let me know, I'd love to learn more about it.

"Come on babe

Why don't we paint the town?

And all that Jazz

I'm gonna rouge my knees

And roll my stockings down

And all that jazz

Start the car

I know a whoopee spot

Where the gin is cold

But the piano's hot

It's just a noisy hall

Where there's a nightly brawl

And all

That

Jazz

Skit two!

And all that Jazz

Hotshot!

Whoopee!

And all that Jazz

Slick your hair

And wear your buckle shoes

And all that Jazz

I hear that Father Dip

Is gonna blow the blues

And all that Jazz

Hold on, hon

We're gonna bunny hop

I bought some aspirin

Down at United Drug

In case you shake apart

And want a brand new start

To do that-

Jazz

Find a flask

We're playing fast and loose

And all that jazz

Right up here

Is where I store the juice

And all that jazz

Come on, babe

We're gonna brush the sky

I bet you lucky Lindy

Never flew so high

'Cause in the stratosphere

How could he lend an ear

To all that Jazz?

Oh, you're gonna see your sheba shimmy shake

And all that jazz

Oh, she's gonna shimmy 'till her garters break

And all that jazz

Show her where to park her girdle

Oh, her mother's blood'd curdle

And If she hears her baby squeal

It's For all that jazz

And all that jazz

And all that jazz

Come on babe

Why don't we paint

The town?

And all that jazz

I'm gonna

Rouge my knees

And roll my

Stockings down

And all that jazz

Start the car

I know a whoopee spot

Where the gin is cold

But the piano's hot

It's just a noisy hall

Where there's a nightly brawl

And all that-

Jazz

No, I'm no one's wife

But, oh, I love my life

And all that Jazz!

That Jazz!"
